Record Street cafe is an interesting cafe-type place and is a good place to stop for a snack between classes or a quick beverage. It's not my idea of a place to have lunch or socialize, though, since it seems to be a place where people like to stop and study. It can be a little library-like in the mid-afternoon as it seems that people choose record-street over the library and other campus attractions.
Since I am not a student it isn't what I like to do, but I can see how it would be perfect for a UNR student.
