I had BWM install a Grate Drain basement waterproofing foundation system in my home a year ago after doing a lot of homework and research to find what makes some basement systems better than other. My research pointed me to BWM for their Grate Drain tile system. I compared it to water guard which is sold at FSM Foundation Systems of MI and my findings were that the Grate system could handle a lot more water at a much faster rate. Both waterproofing systems cost about the same,,, EXPENSIVE, but I am very happy with my decision because I have piece of mind knowing that my newly finished basement will remain dry for as long as I live here and then some. What I like best about the Grate Drain is not only the fact that it can handle almost twice as much water as the other systems, but it is the only completely closed system that is able to be maintenanced to ensure it never can clog down the road. Well worth the money I spent even though a nice vacation to Hawaii would have been a more fun way to spend the money.
