With the cold weather continuing and finding out it was not my thermostat that was broken I called Armbrust. Jeff B. was scheduled to come the next day after 12:00 p.m.(calling 1st). He called 11:15 a.m. and was here 11:50 a.m. so I did not have to wait all afternoon. He answered a number of questions I had and showed me how to place certain valves so that the system worked correctly. He found that the zone valve was sticking and asked if I wanted a new one ordered telling me upfront it would cost between $100 and $200. He showed me how I could manually override this broken part, but in doing so the heat would remain on or off. He asked if I still wanted the part ordered (I did), but this information came in handy before the part arrived. Later that same day I got a message they had gotten the part. The next morning they returned my return call. That very afternoon, within a half an hour, Jeff B. had replaced the broken part and my heating system was up and running!
