Alvin no longer has a hospital of its own. Now we have a small Diagnostic and Urgent Care facility. We go here if it is something we consider minor, but go to another hospital if it is something more. Last year the insurance we had didn't cover us here either. They can do x-rays and other tests here. When we have went here they have been able to treat us here without sending us to a bigger hospital.
