That's what you'll hear recommended to you when you walk in the door of La Perlita. And believe me, they are telling the truth. My husband could have gone anywhere for his birthday dinner this year, but all he wanted was carnitias at La Perlita. It's a really a good place. The decor is a little bit "look what we got for free from our Corona beer distributor" and Cinco de Mayo gone mad, but remember you're not there for the ambiance. You're there to enjoy the terrific food. The service is alway prompt and friendly and they're always happy to let you know about the traditional Mexican dishes they prepare. They also have plenty of fresh seafood dishes too!
