For an overall modern movie experience, this is not the theater to go to. The place is in major need of repairs and they don't have fancy sound equipment or super comfy chairs. I do like this theater, though. The main reason is that they play movies I want to see and the theater isn't jammed pack with loud people. The last few movies I've gone to there, the people were well behaved. I can't say that for the other theater in town. So if you're up for a funky theater experience, check out the Sutter Theater.
