I've filled numerous prescriptions here and never had a problem. The staff is always friendly but usually very hurried. It's not easy to ask a question because then you're taking the pharmacist away from filling prescriptions to look things up online (like whether or not they carry the generic of what you need). Kroger does occasionally offer excellent coupons through the mail - $20 off any new or transferred prescription.
