A rarely used community resource 7/27/2005

The library at Indiana University East is available for use by all area students. Students need merely a student ID from a local high school and they are permitted to use the facilities, including check-out privileges. I am surprised that more students are not aware of this great resource because the comprehensiveness of their online card catalog, as well as book reservation capabilities make it incredibly easy to use. Part of the inter-library loan system, they can retrieve most books for you in a matter of days. Most people are surprised that they even have a fairly large collection of children's books, exercise videos, and other items one doesn't expect to find in a university library. more
