We wandered in petco because my daughter wanted a fish. Keep in mind we have never owned a pet. I explained this to an employee named Ryan and he showed us all we need to get started, gave is some pamphlets to take home and helped us pick out the best fish for beginner's. The store is so clean you wouldn't know animals are in there! The animals are healthy and seem happy. This store gets an A+!!!
