I had my wife's van repaired and the brakes were spongy. When we took it back, we were told that it was air in the lines and to drive it for a couple hundred miles to work it out. Inspection time came and the Van failed due to the brakes. We had an independent shop fix the problem for $50.00 (parts and labor) We were told it was installed improperly. When I called Meineke, they offerred an apology and an oil change. That was fine with us, until my wife took it in today. The owners son (Justin) told my wife that she should have brought it back to any Meineke and they would have fixed it. She explained that she did bring it back to their shop and they said to drive it a while and it would work it's way out. Justin refunded the money, grudgingly, and my wife called me to explain that it was a horrible ordeal. We are not people to make waves, but is it too much to expect proper service for a proper price. I am truly dissappointed!
