Aquariums are my favorite type of museum to visit. This aquarium has many tanks of beautiful fish, ugly fish, scary fish and plenty of other sea life. They also have good explanations of the fish and the areas the fish can be found in. The most interesting thing I learned is that the red snapper we eat at restaurants is actually vermillion rockfish. I was born in a city called Vermillion and it is a song by a band I like. Right now they have a shark exhibit but I didn't think it was nearly as good as the rest of the aquarium. And of course they have the requisite tide pools where everyone can touch sea stars.
