I really love Beyond Bread. Although I love the sammies I have had there, the side dishes can be a bit hit and miss. IMHO. I had a balsamic vinaigrette one day that tasted a little 'mouldy' even. It wasn't very good. The chips are baked, and are a bit odd if you are not used to them. The coleslaw, again, is too strong on the vinegar, but is actually the best side choice. I think it would be nice if they would offer a few more choices of side dishes. A creamy coleslaw........more traditional........or even soup.
The sandwiches are really good though. FRESH bread and a tremendous variety of it. The tomatoes, lettuce, etc. is always fresh and crispy.
This is a really nice thing since in so many restaurants this isn't the case.
Beyond bread is known for baking their own breads and it shows. YUM.
The parking lot and restaurant is nuts at lunchtime. If you can get here by 11AM or after one, you will have a much better chance of finding a table. There is an outdoor patio as well as indoor seating.
So, don't count on the side dishes, don't get the brown balsamic dressing, but DO try the sandwiches!!
