We were in town for a convention..out on the Art night where the Museums stay open late, riding on the trolley, when a girl on the bus told us about a great restaurant she liked..Luckily we took her advice, as we had no idea what was good being from out of town.We walked in to Saffron and were wonderfully surprised... We knew we were in the right spot. They had a musician playing, the atmosphere was great. The menu looked yummy. A couple of my friends were vegetarian and there was plenty for them to choose from..Roasted eggplant spread. Warm spinach dip, Veggie Skewers. They served an appetizer of warm pita bread with tomatoes, feta and endive. The meal was fantastic. They had all kinds of Martini's..and Pistachio Ice cream with rose water drizzled over it for desert..It was out of this world! What an awesome surprise to find such a great place. It was our lucky night!
