Flushing park is a great place to go if you want to hang out with friends, have a picnic, or take your kids out to play. With lots of grass space to play on Flushing Park used to be our stomping grounds. Many a water balloon fight and frisbee game occurred there and it was always the best time. The park also has a tennis court and basketball court if you are interested in getting some organized sports in. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables where you see many families having their gatherings. Right along the river, the park has a nice path that you can walk along and benches to sit and look out on to the river. There is also a large stage/theater area, where movies are shown during the summer. It's a quaint area, and a nice clean place to go to hang out.
