My wife and I purchased our wedding bands from Guy and Glen Ballard's father in 1981. At the downtown LA store we were impressed with the service and attention of the elder Ballard. We followed them to Glendale and recently to Fountain Valley. Twenty-five years later we can proudly say that "If we can't buy it at B and B, we just don't buy it." B & B has provided us with numerous rings and jewelry, much of it custom made. The service has been unmatched by the nearly dozen other jewelers (dept. stores, high priced mall stores, discount jewelry stores) where we purchased here and there. We've never had a problem with the quality of B&B's materials, and their value. Each and every chain, ring, bracelet and watch we have purchased has been a joy to wear or to give as a present.
Their attention to the customer has been one of the most enduring aspects of our long-term relationship. When we made a made a major purchase from them several years ago, they took considerable time counseling us on the differences in diamonds we were considering. They were more interested in our being satisfied with our purchase than what we purchased.
This may sound unusual for a husband to share, but I enjoy visiting Ballard and Ballard because I know we will get our money's worth and quality service from third generation jewelers. And, wherever they choose to move, we'll still only purchase jewelry from B & B. It's more than a forty mile trip to B&B, and we gladly make it each and every time.
