I am from Raleigh but met my brother and mother today at the McDonald's in Sanford, NC. We could not believe the nastiness of this particular McDonald's. This was at 2:30 pm on November 22, 2006. The trash bin where you leave your trays, I only saw one, was piled up with trash and trays with trash all over, you could not see the big hole in the countertop to put your trash because of the piled up trays that had trash sitting all over them. The floors were filthy, I saw french fries on the floors, napkins, other trash, tables weren't cleaned, bathrooms had toilet paper all over the floor. I asked to speak to the General Manager and a mexican worker said she was the Manager but I knew better. I told her that they needed to clear out the area to throw trash away because it was terrible. Then, I saw a black guy dressed more appropriately as a manager came up and I saw her telling him what I had said and he dismissed it telling her that they didn't have time to worry about that. Well, one thing is for sure, I will never stop and eat at that McDonald's again ever. If they don't care about the cleanliness of the eating area, just imagine how our food is prepared!!! I wish that a state food inspector had walked in and observed the facility while I was there, they would definitely had gotten the lowest rating possible. My brother even took a picture of the trash piled up with his camera phone.
