Uncarrying/Non-cooperative Employees 10/28/2006

I recently contacted your Washington County Detention Center Representative. The conversation was based on services to inmates/detainees at the center. I personally placed money on the books on 23 Oct and was informed at that time the money was available for commissary privledges immediately. However, this did not happen and several follow up calls either went unanswered or non responsive. Eventually, I did speak with someone and they told me that because of a computer problem the transaction did not transpire as it should and the detainees waiting for items would have to wait until the following week. These are human beings that deserve to be treated as such and if one of your family members was unable to obtain services any other way you would hold that provider accountable for that weeks business. I hope this is not a common practice and whatever corrective action that needs to be taken is quickly dispensed. Further information of poor services could lead me to consider more public attention and questions answered by the Agency awarding you the contract. Your prompt attention is appreciated.
