Elizabeth's Cafe is consistently rated among the top 20 U.S. restaurants for good reason. The food is exceptional and the wine pairings are perfect. Elizabeth's is famous for its prix fixe wine dinners; 6- or 7- course meals during which each course is paired with a particular wine. It allows the diner to experience wines they couldn't otherwise try unless they spent hundreds of dollars buying bottles. Elizabeth's is not a place to go if you're low on money, though. The experience is undoubtedly the best if you can feel comfortable dropping $200 or more for 2 people. If you're up for a splurge though, it's worth it.
