Expensive, dishonest, arrogant, and doesn't stand behind his work. This man has a well-deserved reputation for dishonesty and arrogance among Volvo owners who have been in Portlland for a while. Unfortunately, newcomers to the area usually have to lose a few thousand bucks before getting clued in.
If he says you need anything done to your car, I'd look for a second opinion, and if he does anything to your car, I'd have somebody double-check what's been done. Oh, when you drop off or pick up your car, don't be surprised if he leaves you standing in front of his desk for a half hour or more while he carries one of his long, rambling, psychologically-overbearing phone conversations with another customer. (There's not a chance that he'll take care of you first and call them back.)
Ask around town, I'm not the only one with a low opinion of this outfit.
