I have battled with depression since childhood. I have seen countless therapists and doctors, who claimed to specialize in depression, and I always felt that they weren’t listening to me. “Let’s try this medication” was typically the response I received. Upon realizing that I was at terrible point my in life I decided that I needed to try something. My husband suggested that I try counseling one more time, and I am glad I did. At last I have found someone that is truly helping me. Amy has guided me on an amazing yet sometimes difficult journey. After the let down of previous therapists, I have had trouble feeling comfortable discussing anything with anyone. However with Amy it just comes naturally.
