Just yesterday I stopped in downtown North Saint Paul to pick something up. I came across this quaint little shop called La Garage and Gallery. The goods sold have all been preowned, but this definitely isn't a thrift store. Everything is beautifully merchandised, very clean, and modestly priced. Yesterday I bought four fancy plates once sold at Pier One, an old book (I love old books), and a porcelain center piece. They are having a sale right now and soon will be getting ready for Christmas according to their signs. It is family owned and operated. A fun place to check out for unique gifts, books, household goods, decorative items, and tools.
