My grandson had his boxer picked up while he was away. He called twice to tell them he'd pick it up on the 16th. They put it to sleep an hour before he got there, before they were even opened on the 16th. They just handed him the leash and said they took him away to the land fill. It was an expensive dog and was used to produce puppies to sell. He had just gotten married and they had a female boxer and were going to do this to supplement their income while both were in college. This was a very unconscionable thing to do. I am their grandmother. They came to our house crying as they loved their dog. No mercy was shown. No reason was given. The dog had snapped at someone, but never had bitten anyone and was good with children. This has taken away their source of income and also the cost of the boxer. Is there anyone we can report this to besides your book? Thank you.
