Dated and not worthwhile 9/5/2006

I've always heard about the famed Bloomie's on Lexington Avenue in New York, but with the price of gas nowadays, I thought I'd pay this store a visit. This Bloomingdale's is very disapppointing. Firstly, it is in the Court at King of Prussia, the older part of the mall. The prices are high, but the store feels low-end. Everywhere all you see are cashiers standing around. The clothes are not wonderful, either. You'll find the standard Lacoste and Ralph Lauren, etc. Worst of all, the ceilings are very low, and the escalators are narrow. This is so unlike Nordstrom, which is far nicer. The only plus is that this store is near the Cheesecake Factory, which I've heard the best about. Now to check that place out... more
