My boyfriend was glad to find a place that served gator tail after finding out that they don't serve gator at the Alligator Farm (false advertising?) as they do at Gatorland in Orlando. Theirs is delicious as are their sandwiches, such as the Philly cheese steak and the grilled chicken sandwich with a great, unique honey mustard sauce. For 6-10 dollars, you get a huge sandwich (or other entrée, ie, crab cakes) and two sides. There are daily specials and they have wonderful outdoor seating (in addition to their comfortable, bright indoor seating) which looks onto Saint George while also partially hidden from other tourists by a small courtyard and palm trees. It is the best casual sit-down lunch on Saint George Street and the service is always wonderful. I have never been disappointed here. They used to serve lunch exclusively but I believe they have recently expanded their hours to include an early dinner.
