I had a very bad experience with this outfit many years ago. I needed a new transmission in my car, so I coughed up more than $1000 for it. In less than a month, I started having the exact same problems with my car, so I brought it back to J&L. They refused to honor their warranty, saying that although the car did indeed have a transmission problem, it was a "different" one, so wasn't covered in their warranty. That was an interesting approach, considering they did a complete rebuild the first time around. Anyway, I took my car somewhere else and got the problem fixed the right way. Stay away from these guys!
