I am writing to express my gratitude and complete satisfaction with Bill Kosena.
In September of 2007 I went through a divorce and tried to stay in our family home. Staying in the family home was causing me to climb further and further into debt; I was putting monthly expenses onto credit cards. After many tries negotiating with the bank to refinance, many times trying to rent the property for the amount needed to pay the mortgage, and many discussions with Real Estate agents and family members I decided to walk away from my home. In October of 2010 after a lot of sleepless nights, guilt and heartache I walked away not to make another payment on the home knowing that my home would be foreclosed upon.
In October of 2011, four months before the home was to be put up for auction and foreclosed upon we received a phone call from Bill. Bill was extremely knowledgeable about the short sale process, and guided us appropriately at every turn. I was initially apprehensive of the entire situation, but felt reassured when Bill discussed his prior experience and knowledge of how the banks worked. The next day we met with Bill to sign the paperwork and put the house on the market and within a week we had a contract on the house.
We have just recently closed a tremendously long and complicated short sale process. Bill consistently proved devotion, passion and tenacity by keeping a dedicated close watch on all pieces of the transaction and generously offering his help whenever it was possible. Bill’s assistance in this process extended from setting up a solid communication in between all parties and stretched all the way to helping our bank complete the loan paperwork in a timely manner.
I spoke with realtor after realtor who did not want to get involved in a short sale prior to me walking away from the house. I wish I would have found Bill before I chose to walk away. He and his team have done an outstanding job selling our home.
To reiterate, I have been nothing but pleased with Bill’s assistance.
