Mike's Place has finally come into its own without the owner's crusty old mother as a greeter. The front part of the former restaurant is now a Creamery featuring incredible ice cream, great desserts and coffee drinks. It is a great place for families to hang out and play X box, chess, study, read, gather. The sophisticated warm atmosphere is inviting compared to the sterile Denny's diner it used to be. Everyone should visit that place. What a presence! It is a feel good place, and the food is great. It's home cooking. It somehow tastes better since their decorating changed!
