Yes there were a few problems with false alarms at first and a dead battery after 3 weeks that was supposed to last 5 years, but once all that was worked out things have been great. The cost actually wasn't bad for all the large numbers of motion detectors, door, and window things we had them install. I actually love having it and find it really easy to use.
