I have been with United Prosthetics for 13 years now. At the age of 23 I have spent a good part of my life in and out of their offices in both Braintree and Dorchester. To try and sum up all those years of service adequately is very hard to do.
The first thing you will notice about United when you walk into their offices is the friendly caring atmosphere that encompasses the entire company. It is a family like stepping into an extended family.
As far as the care that is given to me by United, I do not think that anything could surpass it. I am highly active in many different types of sports from rock climbing and hiking to powerlifting and various forms of mixed marital arts. No matter what activity I am perusing United has helped me on my path. They have made specially designed legs for me and spent time getting different companies to sponsor me with all the equipment I need. I always have cutting edge components because of the huge amount of knowledge and connections that they have with the leg companies
The knowledge that is displayed by the staff far surpasses any other office that I have been to. I have to say that Paul Martino is my prosthetist and there is nothing that I have asked him to make/fix that he has not accomplished. I have never had to walk with pain because of the amazing care I get both from him and the rest of the team at United. Because of all they have done for me, many people do not even know that I am an amputee. If I need an emergency appointment they work around my schedule by letting me come in early before work and late after I get out, they even schedule appointments for me on the weekends.
If you want a company that will give you all around service and provide you with the best possible care you shouldn't look any farther. I know that I thank all of the people at United Prosthetics on a daily basis for all the work they do in allowing me to lead the lifestyle I want pain-free and as active as I possibly can be, thanks guys!!!
