I have lived in Grand Rapids my whole life, and have come to love Sweetlands Candies. Some of their stuff is made right there, and mmmm so smooth. Some they bring in from all over the country, and it too is fabulous. There are two locations in Grand Rapids, but I always go to the one on Plainfield, in Cheshire Village I think it's the original location.
Last time I was there I became a preferred customer. To benefit you have to spend $15 in one purchase, then you receive a half lb of the candy of the month. $15 is not hard to do, especially when you have 2 friends with birthdays! Add a little something for yourself, and Viola an extra half pound of deliciousness!
