I originally slipped and fell down a stairway landing on my back. I was told by my employer to go to their company doctor. He was a medical doctor and prescribed various medications. I was not getting results. I was then sent to a Physical Therapist for several months. Afterwards the doctors said I was cured. I would not go anywhere without prescription pain killers. I was still experiencing pain when I had to push or pull anything and if I would lift anything over about 30 lbs. I also developed headaches and insomnia. I noticed my energy was gone. I didn't believe I was cured. After visiting with Dr. Paul, my chiropractor at the Neck and Back Pain clinic in Diamond Bar, I felt he could help me. After treatment, I noticed my body would relax and I didn't feel nervous. My back pain started to go away so I stopped taking medications. About the same time my headaches improved. My occupation adds variables I don't even have control over and I have been able to keep up with the demands. A definite change from before. I've never met a doctor who gets so involved with his patient's health.
