If you want to try a drive-in other than Sonic, I recommend Keller's. There are a few locations around Dallas, but I always visit the location on Northwest Highway. Instead of pushing a button for service, you flash your headlights. The prices are low, and the food is good. I find it odd that a drive-in restaurant serves beer, but I guess that's part of their charm.
