Gene Johnson has a membership system. For a monthly fee, you can receive lower rates and be given priority when you call in with an emergency. In other words, unless you are a member, after you call, other people can be given priority over you. That is what happened to me when my sink stopped up and I stayed home from work to wait for them and make sure my new floors weren't ruined. They said they'd be there between 2 and 5.
They did eventually arrive around 7 after much begging and pleading. I did buy the membership since I would save a few months' membership fee on just that one visit. Or rather, my condo association saved since the problem was outside of my unit.
