I work on the road alot and I'm the first to admit that when I'm home I'd rather not go out to eat. But Down the Street is the exception. All of their food is just like homemade. It's second best to homemade and that's about as good as it gets.
Their food is great tasting and it fills you up. I would say that breakfast is their best meal. Atleast it's my favorite. They serve a mean plate of bisquits and country gravy. Enogh to fill up Paul Bunyan.
Great prices too. Our family of 4 can eat a meal with drinks included for less than $20. Try doing that at a fast food joint.
