Al's Deli came recommended by a friend of mine so my girlfriend and I optimistically stopped by for some lunch. It's a cool place - feels like a little piece of France but the employees working that day were really rude. In my book, service comes first. Average sandwiches can taste like terrific sandwiches with the right people serving them. My girlfriend asked one of the men working what kind of turkey they were using and he rolled his eyes and muttered something that we couldn't understand. She also asked if she could have a sample of the chili before ordering a bowl. They said "no." It's a shame because we'll never go back there and it has the potential to be a really neat place.
