After not visiting JoAnn's in Traverse City for over 8 months, I was shocked to see how much it has improved. Immediately I noticed my favorite corner, the Scrapbooking department, had increased in size with better organization of items. Next I noticed the increased number of bolts of fabrics plus the pleasant display. Prices were posted and easy to understand without having to check the bolt end to clarify. I buy large quantities of SF and DF quilt fabric but in the past they carried just 3-4 colors. Now I have my choice in many colors. The clerks seem more helpful too. Most people would know what a "magnetic closure" is but my clerk did! Another clerk stopped stocking to help me find ribbing for my baby bibs' necks.
As for the craft department, I wouldn't be surprised if that is well stocked too.
It's not a JoAnn's ETC. but it isn't for the lack of trying! I'm very happy with my locan JoAnn's now.
