We stayed at the Gold Country Inn for a night a few weeks ago when passing through Placerville and would recommend it to anybody. The room was clean and the people at the front desk were very nice. The kind of people I could imagine would be friends. We were exhausted after a long drive and were very happy to discover that despite the motel being full that surprisingly, the room was also very quiet.
