This is a great little theater that shows independent and foreign films not usually available to a small town audience. It changed owners a few years ago and the new owner completely upgraded the sound system. It has one theater, and they play one or two movies every week. While the tickets are slightly more expensive than your average multiplex, they do offer a student discount with ID. The snack counter is varied, offering, pretzels, pizza, tea, and coffee in addition to the usual popcorn and soda. They host special events, such as a mummy movie festival, midnight horror movies every weekend in October, a documentary festival, and special showings of films with question and answer periods with the directors. This theater offers many experiences that typical small town audiences never get a chance to participate in. Go give that indie documentary a shot now!
