What a deal you will get when you visit this place! La Michoacana is the ONLY place to consider in Corpus Christi for delicious Mexican sweet bread, also known as "pan dulce." A word to the wise if you live in Corpus Christi's south side: the Michoacana on the South Side is NOT THE SAME as the one off the Crosstown Expressway!! I didn't like the sweet bread at the other location and believe me, I KNOW what good pan dulce tastes like...I've been eating it all of my life!! Take my advice, drive a little further across town...you'll be glad you did! Everything is delicious and SOOOOO inexpensive! From .40 cents to a couple of dollars for HUGE pieces of home made bread!!
