I've been to Jiffy Lube on Hwy 14 in Janesville every few months since we moved here two years ago. Overall I never had a bad experience but I was never overly impressed either. The last two visits I had a bad visit and a good visit. First, the bad visit wasn't horrible, but the person who helped me made a comment that made me pretty angry, and I'm usually laid-back. He was trying to sell me some extra servicing on my car, and he made a comment about how women usually wait longer to get an oil change so he recommended it. The way he said it made me think he was being sexist and judgmental. The next visit to Jiffy Lube, another worker was trying to sell me some extra service and I was reluctant because I was very low on money at the time. I expressed my concerns and he was very friendly and understanding. He wanted to make sure he wasn't being too pushy, and he promised that if I bought the service this time (total $150), he would do the same service the next time for free. I just went in again this week and put him to the test. He did just what he promised and I couldn't be happier!
