Casual French Dining 1/22/2007

My wife and I love going to French restaurants. We love the sauces, meat, and fish dishes. What we don't appreciate, is when a menu gets too complex with its garnish options. Cafe Pinot is great. They have a one page menu, so the choice is limited, but their daily specials are fantastic. Their steaks are cooked to order and for a limited time, they had a domestic-Kobe beef special that was just phenomenal; truly the best steak I'd ever eaten, but a bit expensive. You can't eat French food without wine, and although I can't speak to Pinot's wine list, they have no corking fee, so I just bring my own. more
