Mountain Line's Non Emergency Medical Service 9/17/2006

I use Mountain Line's non-emergency medical services quite a bit. To use this service you must have a medicaid card. To sign up for this service call 304-291-RIDE and ask them for an application. I love this service because I have a power wheel chair that does not fit in a regular vehicle. Another reason that I like this service is that the driver Ron Gatalin is very friendly, timely, and there are very short waiting periods. Ron is very enthusiastic about doing this service. Sometimes he has helpers to help him. They are friendly too. You must be a resident of Monangalia County to get this service and when you sign up for the service they will you if its eligible in your area. Ron has been known to pick up people as early as 6:30 am for appointments but you will have to ask him about appointments that occur later in the day. Sometimes he just cannot do them. Medicaid will pay for up to two appointments a day. more
