Jean has proven to be incredibly helpful to me. She listens when you need to get something out and she responds with very helpful, pertinent thoughts and solutions. Rather than just telling you what you should be doing and/or modifying, she also offers strategies for accomplishing it.
I used to think counseling was something for weak-minded people who weren't strong enough to deal with whatever issues they had. Jean has proven to me that it can be an incredibly helpful tool in recognizing issues, accepting them, understanding their impact, and addressing them.
