If it is an emergency, this hospital is better than none, but other than that, I can't give it too much credit.
When I was there as an overnight patient I was ever so thankful I had packed all of my own medications because even though I filled out the myriad of forms with all of my medications listed, never did a nurse come in to bring any of them to me (and I was there for a day and a half).
Not only that, I was only given one meal - the nurses thought that I was "out for testing" and the other shift had "fed me". (There are vending machines and I was able to call home for food.)
When it was time for me to check out, I waited for 38 minutes for the transporter to come with the mandatory wheelchair. Finally, I was so discouraged I walked to the nurses' station and told them I was walking out and asked if there was any paperwork I needed to sign in order to do so. There was not.
I will save my review of the emergency department, the radiology department, and admissions for another day.
