We were traveling through Beaumont and decided to stop at our favorite restaurant - Cracker Barrel. The coffee was good, but we were very disappointed in the food we were served. It wasn't bad - it just wasn't up to the usual Cracker Barrel standards of freshness, taste and appearance. Our waitress was polite, but not nearly as attentive as they usually are at Cracker Barrel. We have dined at so many of these restaurants in the U.S. and this is our first disappointment. Hopefully, the Beaumont restaurant is the only exception.
