About a month ago I needed to get a copy of the original sewage drain permit that was pulled on our property so we could get a new permit to do an addition on our house. And to make sure we weren't going to be building over the septic and drainage fields.
Well, it took over ten minutes before they even acknowledged I was there - I was the ONLY person in there needing assistance, they were in their office chating with one another. I told them what I was looking for and they told me to take a seat. Keep in mind I have two small children with me as well.
After 15 minutes of waiting, I went up to the desk and asked if they were having troubles with the information that I had given them. They said no, it would just be a few more minutes. Another 15 minutes goes by and they then ask me if the current address is correct, didn't I aks them if it was alright earlier?
It took them almost 45 minutes to give me a tiny slip of paper so that I could be on my way. They told me they were sorry for the wait and that they were just a little "out of it" that day.
Whatever!
