The Kooskia Community Library is located on Main Street right across from the Post Office. This is the place where I always went after school to get books to research for my homework assignements. They have a nice selection and the librarian was so sweet. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, I even studied in there a few times so I wouldn't be distracted. Find a corner and wrap yourself in a book.
