We went to Jim's for breakfast the day after St. Patrick's Day. They were serving a special of corned beef hash and eggs. I ordered it thinking that when such an item is offered as a special at the time of year that corned beef goes on sale it would be the real thing. I was very disappointed to find that it came from a giant can- they just sliced off a round- complete with the ridges from the can on the sides. It tasted like canned dog food smells.
How can you advertise Home Style Cooking and then serve canned hash?
My dining partner had Eggs Benedict which was edible but not memorable.
Beyond that the portions are large- but what good does that do you if you can't get the food down.
