Designed from the start to be family friendly. I spoke with one of the owners prior to opening -- the remodel was done with families in mind. Clear evidence is the "kid pit" -- a comfy shag carpeted area that parents can clearly see from their tables. It's not gourmet, but some of the dishes are better than you would expect for a family pub. We are there at least twice a month.
