Adopting here is very expensive. The sliding fee scale does not go downward very far and moves upward very high. This would have cost us $39,000-50,000. Not an option for us. I have a problem with these "fees" for taking a child and caring for it for a lifetime. I think that this place is just a little to overated for my blood and i would rather adopt from some where else or just take the kid from the state
